Brief: To light this unique timber frame passive house, complimenting the interior’s flowing architectural curves, spiral staircase and multi-purpose living area to its full potential.

 

Upon entering this home, the fantastic architectural design of flowing curves demanded an impressive lighting design. Utilising plaster in downlighters close to walls, we were able to draw the eye through the hallway into the open plan living area. A bespoke spiral suspended chandelier provided the wow factor, enhanced by niche and feature up lighting. Simple scene setting controls were utilised through the circulation and living areas to create a soft and tranquil atmosphere. The key design element to consider here was warmth, intrigue and to maximise the clever architectural features throughout.

The finished result was impressive, and the homeowners continue to enjoy this fabulous home.
